Ink Spiral on Gold Canvas Print

What it adds isn't clutter. It's circular tension in the right places. One black brushstroke turns in on itself against warm golden paper, and a room that felt flat suddenly has a focal point. Hang it at eye level in a study or reading corner, above a low sideboard, or on a hallway wall where you pass it every day. It works with pale wood, dark timber, oat linen, stoneware and black metal fittings, and it looks best on a chalky off-white or soft clay wall. Don't crowd it with small framed photos or pattern-heavy pieces — the spiral needs empty wall on all sides to do its job. As a stretched canvas the brushstroke reads a little softer and carries a larger square wall well.
